The Town is in province of Agrigento, around to half of an ideal line that connects Palermo with Agrigento, in the Oriental area of the installation zone of the ancient Sicani. Biagio Platani.There, in Saint Stefano Quisquina are the Entirely Inclusiv Institute of Kindergarten, Elementary School and Average School, and, like superior institutes, the high school of the Social Sciences, the socio - psicologic - pedagogical high school and the teacher's college. In the territory, in Pietranera region, they have center the experimental fields of the Faculty of Agriculture.
